Come and see what’s going on this Sunday at one of our main weekly gatherings, whether you would call yourself a Christian or not. Whatever your background is, and whatever you believe, you would be so welcome.
what to expect
On arriving to our building in Clive Street you will be greeted by our welcome team, who will guide you to the best place to sit. The service lasts about 70 minutes, and there will be singing, praying, and a talk from the Bible. No special clothes are needed. Just come as you are. The services are also currently being livestreamed to Facebook, YouTube and our website, and you can view the livestream here.
If you want to see a selection of some of the songs we might sing, you can browse this Spotify playlist. You are welcome to join in as much or as little as you want to.
During the service there will be a 5-minute section especially for children. Children up to age 11 usually leave the main gathering after this to go to Sunday School. If you have children with you, they are welcome to join in a time of fun singing, play and Bible teaching, with a chance to make friends. There is a creche for pre-school children and activities for those of primary school age. Find out more about Sunday School here, and find out more about kids and young people at GBC here.
After the service, please come and say hello and introduce yourself as we would love to get to know you! We often have picnics or other social events after the service, and you would be welcome to join. When restrictions lift, we hope to be able to extend hospitality, and to resume offering refreshments in the building after the service.
