David James is originally from Maesteg. Now retired, he is married to Jean, has three grown up children and five grandchildren. He is a deacon and the church treasurer.
Daniel King moved to Cardiff as a student and is a logistic manager for a local waste company. He is one of our deacons.
Liz Parry is the deacon responsible for the church building. She is married to Ian and they have four grown up children.
Ian Parry is our Minister. Ordained in 1995, Ian trained at London Theological Seminary and has been a pastor in the Swansea Valley as well as in Cardiff. He has lived in Grangetown since 2003 and been at GBC since 2018.
Rick MacDonald is an elder of GBC. He works as a housing support officer. Married to Naomi, they have two children.
Michael (Mick) Sheen is one of our trustees. Now retired, he was for many years a GP in Bargoed. He also played rugby and for Bargoed. Married to Sheila, they have two adult children.
Alan Cowley was brought to GBC as a baby and has served for many years as a deacon. He is married to Pam and they have three grown up children. Now retired, he was a police diver for many years.
