Christianity Explored 2: Power and Authority
October 8 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Join us for the second session of Christianity Explored as we continue exploring the Gospel of Mark and discover more about who Jesus is, why he came and what it means for us today.
In this session, we look at different moments in the Gospel of Mark where Jesus exercises his authority as the Son of God. What we see is striking: real power, paired with deep compassion. Jesus is not harsh or self-serving. He uses his authority to restore, forgive and release.
We’ll watch a short film together before having an informal discussion in a small group.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been to church for years, have questions about Christianity, or are simply curious to find out more about Jesus.
