Christianity Explored 1: Jesus

Christianity isn’t just a set of ideas, rules or philosophies. At its heart is a person to know – someone who shows us exactly what God is like and what he thinks. Christianity is about Jesus Christ.
This autumn, we’re running the Christianity Explored course in the chapel. Over seven sessions, Christianity Explored takes you through the Gospel of Mark – an eyewitness account of who Jesus is, why he came and what it means for us today.
Each session begins with a short film, which then leads into an informal discussion together in a small group.
This first session explores the opening claims about who Jesus is. Mark introduces him as the Messiah and the Son of God, and from the outset puts before us the question that drives the whole course: “Who do you say I am?”
Whether you’ve never been to church, have questions about Christianity, or simply want to find out more about Jesus, you’d be very welcome to join us.
